Private Thomas Charles Jesson

Thomas Jesson served as a Private in the 2nd/5th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers, service number 50646.

He was the son of John Weston Jesson and Martha Ann Jesson, of Gumley, and attended Kibworth Grammar School.

Thomas was aged 19 when he was killed on 9th April 1918, and is commemorated on Panel 45 and 46 of the Loos Memorial, Dud Corner Cemetery, Loos-en-Gohelle, France.

Thomas is also commemorated on the War Memorial originally displayed at Kibworth Grammar School, but now on display at Kibworth High School.
