Charles W Armson

Leading Aircraftman Charles William Armson was born in 1895, in Birstall, the son of Charles William & Louisa Alice Armson, and served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, service number 167730. The Armson family had moved around a good deal; Charles senior was born in Huncote, Louisa was born in Islington, and their children in Camden Town, Plumstead, Leicester, Birstall, and Humberstone.

Charles junior married Kate Elizabeth Taylor in Leicester, in 1924, and lived in Kibworth. He was 49 years of age when he was killed on 23rd September 1944.

Charles Armson is buried at Kibworth cemetery, plot reference 1582.
